Freakin' Nightmare

It's already fading and it didn't make any sense anyway* and I couldn't begin to describe the whole long, convoluted thing but at the end of it, I was in some sort of casino-like place with people (it started out as a power and light company??). A black guy (not racist, just detailed) was fighting with (and being chased around the place by) a security guard and was all amped up (possibly on something). I kept trying to get out of their way but couldn't. I got down on the floor to try and move out of the amped up guy's way and be less noticeable. He noticed me and swooped down on me and then I was trying to talk him down, keep him from hurting me. He had a razor blade of some kind, and he was using me as leverage with the security (now cops? Maybe the cops arrived or something?). But it wasn't working and so he used the razor blade on my right eye. I didn't feel pain in my dream, I don't think, but I could tell he got my eye because I sensed pain and I also felt blood start pouring down my face. I felt despair and that my world had just been fucked up, and then I woke up.

-----
My dad was in it, and possibly, briefly, my mom. Cats were in it (mine?), I was staying at the place or something and they screwed up a set of sheets and blankets; I bought part of a new set from them, and they screwed those up too. They weren't going to replace them. There was a family with a number of kids getting in the way of my dad trying to help me get them to replace my sheets and blanket. I guess my dad got angry, and he told ME to fuck off or something equally shocking and rude. So I stalked off and was in the process of angrily fucking off when the amped up guy came into the dream as described above.

Like I said, it made no sense and was convoluted. Needless to say, I'm glad it was all just a dream.

I'm forming a new meetup group, called Tucson-Otherkin, for vampires, donors, otherkin, therians, goths and those who are curious in the Tucson, AZ area. Read below for more information and if that sounds interesting to you, you're welcome to join. Our group is at http://www.meetup.com/Tucson-Otherkin/

We are a group of vampires, donors and other kindred who come together to learn more about ourselves and support one another. We don’t do LARP, VTM, fetishes, or other kinky stuff, and we are NOT a dating service.

We will organize real, face-to-face meetups and activities for those living in or around Tucson and the surrounding areas. Our first meetup is scheduled for November 20th. Members will receive more detailed information.

This meetup was created to be informative, create a community, to support each other and, of course, to have fun! We are not a cult and we are not a group that discriminates, so whether you are otherkin, a real vampire, a donor or just curious we would be honored to discuss various topics and most importantly become friends. If you want more information you are more than welcome to contact us.

Please pass this on to anyone you feel would be interested.

Cordially,

Sanguinarius, Organizer

Tucson-Otherkin Meetup Group
http://www.meetup.com/Tucson-Otherkin/

Sanguinarius: The Vampire Support Page
http://www.sanguinarius.org/

He's doing okay (he thinks/says he's not but I think he is). Some days he does better than others; some days he does not so well. He's coming with my mom and me to Kansas City, going to help out on the driving. It's good for him to be doing normal things. Anyway, I still need to empty the cat boxes before we go, so...I'm out of here.

My gramp's birthday is in 3 days. My mom told them to take him off life support a day or 2 ago. We are leaving tomorrow morning (maybe by noonish) to go try and make it for his birthday to see him and to take care of some affairs.

Thank you all for your sympathy and concern.

On a brighter note, I may be getting a laptop soon. Maybe while on our little trip, if I get a chance to look in stores. Then maybe I will be in a better position to contact some people. I don't know. I will at least try to chat a little IF I get one. I just wish I had the laptop NOW (well for the trip).

This morning, my mom had to make the decision to take my gramps off life support. They expect he will last about 10 days. She sat there and cried afterward. She seems to be holding up pretty well now, but then she has to be strong for everyone. Me? I just wish I'd had the foresight to buy a bottle of tequila and some margarita mix instead of this damned chocolate creme liqueur. I really could use a good, strong margarita about now.

Does the shit -ever- end??? I'm already suffering from depression. Does the shit -ever- let up? Even for one fucking lousy day or three? Fucking hell...
